Our sessions educate about the essentials of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Because trained CBT-I providers are in short supply, access can be limited. This free community program helps bridge that gap by informing about CBT-I basics and available resources.
Who is it for?
Adults interested in a Zoom-based educational program . Please consult your healthcare provider to determine whether this approach is right for you. This program is educational and not a substitute for medical care; only your healthcare provider can assess your sleep problem, the underlying conditions that may contribute to sleep problems, and recommend the best approach for you.
Format:
Three weekly sessions each focused on a specific aspect of CBT-I (restriction/control, helpful thoughts, stress management, creating an optimal sleep environment). Participation in these sessions is voluntary and does not establish a counseling relationship with the presenter.
